Acts 20:9-10 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
Moral of the story folks: Don’t fall asleep while the preacher is preaching.
***This post is meant solely for humor. There is of course more we can learn from these two verses, other than to not fall asleep while the preacher is preaching.
“Well, if I can’t get an Apostolic amen I’ll get a Baptist cough.” — Dr. Gerald Jeffers
Brother Steven plays Jesus in a current drama we (the church) are working on. Here’s a very short conversation he had with someone else from church at a youth party:
Lady (to Bro. Steven): Hey, look! There’s Jesus.
Bro. Steven: Well, you know, He (Jesus) said, “… Where two or three are gathered in my name…”
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

When I saw the head of this particular goose (or duck–sorry, I can’t distinguish between the two, but I’m pretty sure it’s a goose), I thought to myself, “What a strange head.”, and you can clearly see why.

I can’t think of a clever title for this photo.
“… it’s what you do that defines you.”

“… ye shall know them by their fruits…” — Jesus Christ
